Paul and Jean Elder legacies live on through their thoughtful gifts that support the Ambassadorial Scholarship program in our district.  Their gift allow many more bright young individuals to travel to improve themselves and to widen Rotary 's foundation in the world.

The district Foundation committee has been very active over the years supporting the Rotary Foundation. They hold a Foundation dinner each year an provide speakers to keep the clubs and their members aware of all the Foundation does for our district and the world. In 2006 they went down a different path to support the district.....

Since its inception in 1965, the Group Study Exchange program has provided grants for countless teams of men and women in the early stages of their business and professional careers to travel abroad and share vocational information with the representatives of their respective professions in another country.

This Rotary Foundation program matches contributions raised by Rotary clubs and districts for international service projects involving Rotary clubs in two or more countries. Frequently, these are World Community Service (WCS) projects, published semi-annually in the WCS Projects Exchange.

Rotary's Pure Water for All is an international service project of the Forest Hills Rotary Club (Pa., USA, District 7300) and its partners.  The goal is to provide extremely pure potable water for families in lesser developed areas and for locations where the regular water sources have been polluted by disaster.  The process involves simple ceramic technology that delivers sufficient quantities of pure, disease free water for a family for less than three pennies a day.
